LipoBridge^® can be used for small molecule and even antibody drug delivery in disease areas such as stroke, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and brain cancer to deliver therapeutic drug quantities across the blood brain barrier and into the central nervous system. As LipoBridge delivers CNS medicines across endothelial cell tight junctions it can also facilitate drug transport across other tight junctions. A solution to the CNS delivery challenge is a prerequisite for the treatment of glioma or neurodegeneration and other unmet medical needs. LipoBridge also has potential for gene delivery or more specifically siRNA drug delivery

LipoMask^TM increases the circulation time of your lipid particle delivery system, improving drug efficacy and safety while allowing for targeting of the lipid particle. This parenteral delivery technology offers controlled release of both large and small molecules.

Genzyme Pharmaceuticals and Pharmidex have formed a collaboration of science and skill to develop Cerense^SM, a unique integrated solution to release the value of your CNS portfolio by unlocking the blood-brain barrier and measuring brain penetration.

Design for Peptide Delivery^SM is a concept developed by the Brookwood -Genzyme Pharmaceuticals Collaboration to address formulation issues often overlooked during peptide discovery thus improving peptide drug delivery. This service renders active substances more suitable for formulation and sustained drug delivery for companies working in discovery and early stage development. This may be done by screening lead compounds for optimal formulation properties or by adapting the delivery system to achieve the desired encapsulation efficiency and release profile. Additionally the compound may require minimal modification of the chemical and/or physical properties of the peptide Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API).
