Peptide Synthesis and Production

After a thorough evaluation of various synthetic routes, Genzyme Pharmaceuticals develops a stepwise Research & Development plan for peptide synthesis by supplying early stage material. Our strengths lie in the development of scalable processes which provide the highest product yield for the lowest cost. As GMP questions arise, we respond according to the customer’s requirements and development status. We can support the development with designed experiments, impurity profiles, reference material and analytical methods.

Novel Amino Acid Derivatives and Pseudoproline Dipeptides

In addition to the in-house capabilities for the production of both natural and non-natural amino acid derivatives, we also offer pseudoproline dipeptides as building blocks suitable for long and difficult peptide sequences.

Formulation

The formulation needs of our peptide customers can be facilitated by using Genzyme Pharmaceuticals’ proprietary drug delivery technologies and taking advantage of our unique collaboration with SurModics Pharmaceuticals.
