Peptide Synthesis and Production

Genzyme Pharmaceuticals develops a stepwise Research & Development plan for peptide synthesis, supplying early stage material after a thorough evaluation of various synthetic routes. Our strengths lie in the development of scalable processes which provide the highest product yield for the lowest cost. As GMP issues arise, we respond according to the customer’s requirements and development status.

Novel Amino Acid Derivatives and Pseudoproline Dipeptides

In addition to the in-house capabilities for the production of both natural and non-natural amino acid derivatives, we also offer pseudoproline dipeptides as building blocks suitable for long and difficult peptide sequences.

Formulation

The formulation needs of our peptide customers can be facilitated by using Genzyme Pharmaceuticals’ proprietary drug delivery technologies and taking advantage of our unique collaboration with Brookwood Pharmaceuticals.
